Sonja Contin, Psy.D., LLC
Dr. Sonja Contin is a licensed psychologist who earned her Bachelor's degree from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from John. F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California, with a focus in the area of neuropsychology. Her predoctoral internship was at City of Hope National Medical Center where she provided individual psychotherapy and conducted neuropsychological assessments of adults and children with hematological and oncological diagnoses. Dr. Contin also completed a two-year postdoctoral residency in pediatric neuropsychology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Scottish Rite campus. During her residency, she performed neuropsychological evaluations on pediatric inpatients and outpatients with an extensive range of medical conditions including traumatic brain injuries, epilepsy, cardiovascular disorders, strokes, cerebral palsy, brain tumors, genetic disorders, premature birth and low birth weight complications and other neurological conditions as well as various diagnoses such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, and tic disorders. In her practice, Dr. Contin focuses on neuropsychological evaluations of children, adolescents, and young adults, between the ages of 6-21 years old, who have a wide range of medical and psychological issues. Dr. Contin is a member of the Georgia Psychological Association (GPA).
